It’s a postcard-donation-project by Haruko Maeda and Saiko Ryusui, two students who are living in berlin.

The thoughts was, to ground some donation way what effects for long term, because the people who lost their house or whole town needs support also later, when it will be no longer reported on the news.

All the income except material cost will donated to Think the Earth Fund for the victims of earthquake and tsunami in east of japan.

recoverjapanとは、現在ベルリン在住の日本人学生によって運営されている日本復興支援のためのポストカードプロジェクトです。

時間が経ち、日常的に被災地の様子がニュースで報道されなくなっても、被災地の方々の苦しい状況にかわりはありません。生活を取り戻すためには、長い時間が必要でしょう。わたしたちは、すこしづつでも長期的に義援金を募ることのできる方法はないかと考え、自分たちで刷ったポストカードをいろいろな場所に置かせて頂くことにしました。

日本の、そしてドイツのたくさんの作家さんたちがこのプロジェクトのために、すてきなイラストを送ってくださいました。ポストカードを刷る際に手伝ってくださった方、印刷資金を提供してくださった方、様々な人の協力によってこのプロジェクトが実現できましたことを、この場をお借りして感謝したいと思います。

材料費をのぞくすべての収入は、Think the earth基金へ送られ、東北地震の被災者のために使われます。

The Proceeds and Donations from this project have been deposited to Think the Earth Fund on the early October 2011.

Spaceport is the company who organises Think the Earth project.
We and all the people, who were helped by you, are really thankfull for your corporation! (I believe!)

Now we are thinking where to send the Donation as next.
My opinion is to support the project for the Kids like this.
Learning support for students project
But we are still on the way to find the best possibility for the children.

Eleven months after Tsunami
Now the people are trying to work again.
Barber in temporary housing

This guy, a Shipbuilder for the fischer, is saying, it’s not allowed to build a house by themselves (even on your own ground) because of urban planning from gavernment which is still not decidet. But the possibility to work is really limited in Temporary housing life that was given to them. Then they started to build some Prefab warehouse for the begining, so that they can start to work anytime. The black Ropes that are hung on the picture, are for the cultivation of seaweed.

Our project was purposely at a distance from the Nuclear accident problem of Fukushima until now, because we didn’t want to mix up the both probelms. We knew, it is terrible what in fukushima happend, that we have to resist it.
But that, there are many people who lost their houses and dailylives due to the Earthquake and Tsunami needed help,  has nothing to do with nuclear Criticism.
We were really sad to see, how the both problems were mixed up and told like they are the same problem.

Anyway, now enough time has passed and we have the courage to say : There are still a lot of people, who has to evacuate as soon as possible from nuclearplant-Area.

Fukushima children went to court against the Administration for Secure environment, and they lost the case. I know it’s hard to take a Responsibility. But the children must be saved!

Auf der seite von Süddeutsche Zeitung schreibt und zeichnet eine Japanerin, wie die alltägliche Situation in Tokyo sich ändert. Das hilft dir vielleicht ein bischen zu verstehen, wie die japanische Burger das Ganze erleben.

Ishinomaki Disaster Recovery Assistance Council

Heute feiert man Tanabata in Japan. Bunte Wunschzettel werden auf die Banbubäumen gehängt. Viele haben sich naturlich die Wiederaufstand und Wiederaufbau gewunscht. Das sehe ich aber eher als spontaner Entschluß statt passives Wunsches.

Und hier ist ein Tipp für eine Ausstellung in Berlin, was mit der erdbeben zu tun hat. Da sind viele spannender Künstler dabei.

南ドイツ新聞にて、いちむらゆうこさんという方が、震災後の東京での日常生活をイラストで連載されています。日本の雰囲気が伝わる内容になっています。

この連載は東京からの便りですが、東北の状況もかわらず厳しく、現地の方々、ボランティアの方々の疲れも限界にきているという話しもきかれます。一方いろいろなNPO団体のブログ上では、被災地の様子が逐一アップされていて、勇気付けられます。例えばこちらのサイト

石巻災害復興支援協議会

今日は七夕でした。被災地でも笹を飾り、お祝いをしたようです。写真を拝見すると、短冊には当然復興に関する願いがたくさん書かれているのですが、それは願いというよりも決意なんだと、わたしは受け取りました。

現在mitteのKWにて、震災に関する展示が行われています。参加作家を見ても興味深い展示になっていることは間違いありませんので、（未見にて失礼）ぜひ。

Neighborhood community

i cannot realy describe about the cherryblossam festival in käthe-niederkirchnerstraße, cause it was so fantastic. the people who are living in the street know each other well, and to know little more about the neighbor they are having a streetfestival with original japanese cherryblossam which are given from japan. everyone brings his table and chairs to outside in the middle of the street and offer home-made food with drinks! there was also Kinderflohmarkt, a flea market by children for children. it looked so special, not like typical urban life but warm, lively communication. it was my first time to see such a kind of local affair in berlin. it might be good old days, but at the same time was a kind of modern.

and i must not forget about kids streetdace with a yoga-meisterin! you just have to see it. it was simply good. it makes a feeling, you can just join them!

ケーテ・ニーダーキルヒナー通りの桜祭りの良さを伝えるのは、文章ではとても難しい、と参加して感じました。通りの住民はみんな仲が良くて、もっとお互いを知るために毎年桜祭りを開催しています。ケーテ・ニーダーキルヒナー通りの桜並木は、日本から贈られたほんものの日本の桜なのだそうです。昼過ぎになると、住民がおもむろに自分の家から机やいすを持ち出し、通りの真ん中に並べて、手作りのごはんやお菓子をお互いに勧めあいながらおしゃべりに興じます。その横では子供達による子供達のためのフリーマーケットがひらかれていて、大人達とは別の独自の社会を築いていました。

都会の真ん中とは思えない、いきいきとした、とてもポジティブな交流がおこなわれていました。ベルリンでこんな風な地域交流を見たのは初めてだったのですごく驚いたのですが、日本の隣組ともまた違う、オープンな、なにか現代的なものだと感じました。

ヨガマイスターのお姉さんがインストラクターをつとめた、子供ストリートダンスもすごくよかったです。ちょっと参加してみようかしらとおもわせるへんなエネルギーがありました。みんなが笑った日でした。

カメラのバッテリーがきれてしまったので、あまり写真がとれなかったのですが、こちらのサイトでもっとたくさんいい写真がみられます。

この日は、124.03ユーロの売り上げでした。

ケーテ・ニーダーキルヒナー通りのみなさんと、子供達に感謝します。

smartdelic!

we joined pre-opening day by new Smartdeli on friday 22.April!
Smartdeli is well known under the japanese people who are living in berlin. they also sell japanese food, like good rice or sauce or sweets. it just moved from friedrichshain to mitte and now is much bigger than before, but still have the style from before and pop-taste! please make a stop when you are around, also when you need good caffee and cakes. the cute italy-berliner ladies on the pic. had fun with us in this afternoon too.

on that day we raised 92.21 euro!

先週4月22日に、スマデリのプレオープニングに参加させて頂きました。ベルリンの日本人のあいだではちょっと知られたこのお店は9年間営業していたフリードリヒスハイン地区から雰囲気のがらりと違うミッテ地区へ引っ越したばかり。日本の食料品も扱うレストランです。以前と比べてずいぶん広くなりましたが、トレードマークともいえるポップなテイストはあちこちに取り入れてあってとても楽しいお店に仕上がっています。お近くにお越しの際は、立ち寄ってみては？おいしいコーヒーとケーキもありますよ！写真のかわゆいイタリアンギャルたちと一緒に、たのしい午後のひとときを過ごす事ができました。

この日の売り上げは、92.21ユーロでした。

that was a long night

Yesterday we made us known to the theater lovers. In Theaterhaus Berlin Mitte performed 7 different groups their pieces under the event 3 nights of the opere and theater .

At this night more than 20 cards were sold and the kindness of the people became 130.13 Euro.

I really thank you all, also who was intrested in our projekt and talked to me, and the Liebe Leute von Theaterhaus Berlin Mitte who helped me a lot!

Unfortunately, I have missed every performances because I stood in front of the entry. But it was still exciting to watch at the people who came. I really enjoyed talking with them.
I always feel like, what I can do is just talk and listen to the people around me, face to face. Because I am happy when they are happy. Maybe it sounds a bit too simple and naive, but when each of us do not forget about that, the world would be a little better, i think!

We have four Muses who made for our projekt beautifull drawings, their names are Annette Köhn, Maki Shimizu, Salom Beaury and Marie Geissler. The muses from Neukälln are staying really active in their creative office Musenstube.

long night of opera and theater

first action

On 9. April we joined “Japan Fundraising Stand and Kids Sponsored Walk” at Helmholtzplatz! The weather was nice, but it got colder later. I hope nobody of the people who ware standing outseide all the day cautch a cold or something. There ware so many children so we could get a lot of positive energy to live as a human.

65 cards were sold, total income was 250Euro.

All the income except material cost will donated to Think the Earth Fund for the victims of earthquake and tsunami in east of japan.
